Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four years of line cooking experience
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Physical stamina to handle kitchen duties
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to train and be trained
- Familiarity with cost control and kitchen operations
Job Qualifications
- Good communication skills
- Four years of previous line experience
- Fine dining experience preferred
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
- Proficient in basic and intermediate cooking skills
- Able to work multiple kitchen stations
- Capable of moderate supervision and training
Job Duties
- Monitor food production and quality
- Ensure consistency in food preparation
- Manage staffing levels in the kitchen
- Oversee department training
- Provide direction in the culinary supervisor’s absence
- Maintain cost control measures
- Communicate effectively with team and guests
