Job Requirements
- Prior culinary and cooking experience
- Ability to work onsite in Anchorage
- Availability to work Monday through Friday with varying shifts
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a team environment
- Availability for immediate hire
Job Qualifications
- Prior culinary and cooking experience
- Ability to follow established recipes and guidelines
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
- Experience in operating and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Ability to maintain accurate production records
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to train and assist kitchen staff
- Flexibility to work varying shifts Monday through Friday
Job Duties
- Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes
- Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment after use
- Perform scheduled routine cleaning duties
- Store, label, and date food items according to policy
- Maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated products
- Follow HACCP guidelines and comply with health and sanitation regulations
- Assist Food Service Director in maintaining production records and required documentation
- Assist in cross training of employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
