Job Requirements

  • Prior culinary and cooking experience
  • Ability to work onsite in Anchorage
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday with varying shifts
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a team environment
  • Availability for immediate hire

Job Qualifications

  • Prior culinary and cooking experience
  • Ability to follow established recipes and guidelines
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
  • Experience in operating and cleaning kitchen equipment
  • Ability to maintain accurate production records
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to train and assist kitchen staff
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts Monday through Friday

Job Duties

  • Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes
  • Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned
  • Operate and clean kitchen equipment after use
  • Perform scheduled routine cleaning duties
  • Store, label, and date food items according to policy
  • Maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated products
  • Follow HACCP guidelines and comply with health and sanitation regulations
  • Assist Food Service Director in maintaining production records and required documentation
  • Assist in cross training of employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned
