The role offered is a full-time, day-shift position responsible for overseeing food production and service operations within the University Health cafeteria. This position is pivotal in ensuring service quality by maintaining the utmost levels of delivery and supporting daily food production activities at all stations within the food service operation. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and cooking of foods to order, ensuring compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations, and upholding the proper care and use of food supplies and equipment. The position demands leadership qualities, as the employee is expected to provide positive and constructive feedback to team members, motivating and coaching employees to meet operational goals. Completing tasks accurately and timely while adhering to established deadlines forms a critical component of this role. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in food production and cooking, especially in demanding environments such as hospitals or multi-site facilities. Additionally, familiarity with food service-related software and inventory management systems is preferred. The candidate is required to maintain or obtain ServeSafe certification within 60 days of hire, ensuring food safety compliance and contributing to the institution's commitment to quality and regulatory adherence.

Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Execute service quality by maintaining highest level of delivery
