Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of four years progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
  • ServeSafe Certification or willing to obtain within the three-month introductory period
  • experienced in all cooking stations and methods

Job Duties

  • prepare meals following established recipes
  • support kitchen staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations during meal service
  • assist in training and development of line cooks and prep staff
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • manage inventory and supplies
  • ensure compliance with safety and health standards
  • collaborate with culinary team on menu development
