Job Duties
- prepare special meals or substitute products as needed
- regulate oven, grill, and rotisserie temperatures
- remove frozen foods to thaw in refrigerator
- ensure proper portioning, plating, and garnishing
- keep food records
- monitor food quality and quantity
- communicate assistance needs during busy periods
- report excess food items for daily specials
- notify food and beverage staff of rejected products and daily specials
- ensure food quality
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists
- prepare cold dishes
- assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and training employees
- comply with all safety and company policies and procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions
- maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
- maintain confidentiality and protect company property
- anticipate guest service needs and fulfill them
- communicate clearly and professionally with others
- cultivate and maintain positive working relationships
- support team to reach common goals
- respond appropriately to employee concerns
- ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
- stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- stretch, bend, twist, and stoop
- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place up to 25 pounds without assistance
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
