The Cook position plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of food quality and service expected at Aston Gardens. Responsibilities include preparing hot and cold menu items at various food stations including the grill, sauté, salad-bar, and service line. The Cook ensures proper preparation, portioning, and serving of food according to the menu cycle and standardized recipes, maintaining consistency and quality. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cooking experience in a commercial or senior living kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to work weekends
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines

Job Duties
