Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of four years' progressive responsibility in full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • ServeSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within the three-month introductory period
  • experienced in all cooking stations and methods

Job Duties

  • prepare meals following established recipes
  • support kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal services
  • assist in training and developing line cooks and prep staff
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • manage inventory and food supplies efficiently
  • collaborate with culinary team to adapt menus based on seasonal trends
