The Lead Cook position at SodexoMagic, based in Merck, South San Francisco, is a vital role designed for individuals passionate about culinary arts and excelling in a team-oriented environment. Job Duties

  • accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events
  • read and follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing various food items
  • prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during normal business hours
  • attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • perform other duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
