The Lead Cook position at Sodexo, located at Carroll College, is a full-time role that offers a pay range between $20.00 and $21.00 per hour. The Lead Cook may also be involved in customer service through direct food service stations like a la carte or grill stations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 4 years of culinary or food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including afternoons and evenings
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to food safety standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Legal authorization to work in the location

Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
- Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
- Support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned which may differ depending on business necessities and client requirements
