Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a renowned and fast-growing family-owned company managing over 60 senior living communities nationwide. The company is dedicated to creating resort-style environments that cater specifically to seniors, fostering vibrant, safe, and engaging communities where residents can thrive and enjoy an exceptional quality of life. Rooted in Core Values such as Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence, RLC emphasizes a servant-hearted approach that ensures every resident, family member, and team member is treated with dignity, care, and warmth.
RLC’s mission revolves around four essential goals: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations, striving to create harmonious environments that benefit everyone involved. With a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere and supporting a dynamic team culture, RLC offers employees a purpose-driven role where they can make a meaningful impact every day.
About the Role: The Lead Concierge at Resort Lifestyle Communities plays a pivotal role as the welcoming face of the community. This full-time position, offering competitive pay between $19 and $20 per hour, requires a servant-hearted individual who can greet residents, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism while providing exceptional customer service. The Lead Concierge serves as the first point of contact, answering phones, managing valet parking, and assisting in a variety of operational tasks that contribute to the overall resident experience.
In this leadership position within the community operations team, the Lead Concierge is instrumental in contributing to the culture and smooth running of the community. The role involves multitasking in a fast-paced environment, coordinating transportation, supporting dining services during peak times, managing guest-suite reservations, and overseeing emergency procedures to ensure resident safety. The Lead Concierge also helps with training new concierge team members and offers leadership support when managers are unavailable.
This position requires adaptability, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to effectively handle shifting priorities. It also involves maintaining the cleanliness and security of the building, welcoming new residents, and ensuring they have a smooth orientation experience. The Lead Concierge must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, have a professional appearance, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
RLC provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability benefits, and paid time off, along with a competitive stipend and a 401(k) plan with employer match. The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., supporting work-life balance for its team members. If you are passionate about serving seniors and want to be part of a caring and collaborative community, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly while growing professionally in a supportive environment.
