The Lead Concierge role at Resort Lifestyle Communities is a pivotal position that acts as the welcoming face of the community. This position requires a highly personable and professional individual who will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and guests, both in person and via telephone. As part of the community leadership team, the Lead Concierge plays an essential role in shaping the daily resident experience by ensuring every interaction is warm, seamless, and memorable. The role is full-time with a work schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and offers a competitive hourly wage between $21.50 and $24.50.

Being a Lead Concierge means more than just greeting guests; it involves delivering elevated customer service by anticipating needs, providing valet parking, coordinating transportation, and managing guest-suite reservations. This multi-faceted role also includes supporting dining operations during peak times, event set-up, overseeing responsible alcohol service, and assisting with room-service requests. The Lead Concierge takes on a leadership responsibility by training new concierges, attending team meetings, and leading community initiatives that enhance resident satisfaction.

Safety is a paramount concern in this position. The Lead Concierge is required to maintain vigilance by responding promptly to emergencies, monitoring call systems, coordinating with emergency services, and guiding residents through emergency proceedings such as severe weather situations. They are also responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of common areas and securing the community by managing exterior doors.

This position demands strong interpersonal and communication skills, a professional appearance, and an adaptable, team-oriented attitude. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred, along with knowledge of the local community. The successful candidate must also meet specific service requirements, including obtaining necessary food handler permits and compliance with local alcohol service laws within two weeks of hire.

Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • able to valet park vehicles safely
  • ability to work Tuesday-Saturday 7:00am to 3:30pm
  • must meet local alcohol service requirements and obtain food handler permits within two weeks of hire

Job Duties

  • Ensure resident safety by responding quickly to emergencies, monitoring call systems, coordinating with emergency services, guiding residents through emergency procedures and severe weather situations
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas, ensure building security by locking and unlocking exterior doors at designated times
  • Welcome new residents and guide them through the orientation process for a smooth transition into the community
