Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a well-established, family-owned company dedicated to serving seniors with the utmost care and respect. With over 60 vibrant communities nationwide, RLC has built a reputation for delivering exceptional living experiences in beautiful, resort-style environments. As a fast-growing leader in senior living, the company prides itself on fostering a close-knit, servant-hearted culture grounded in core values like Respect, Honesty, Kindness, Compassion, and Service Excellence. These values guide every interaction and ensure that both employees and residents benefit from an atmosphere of warmth and professionalism.
RLC's mission extends beyond simply providing senior living accommodations; it aims to create a community where residents feel genuinely valued and engaged. This is achieved through dedicated staff who are passionate about enriching lives, conscientious management of operations, and a commitment to transparency and inclusiveness. The company focuses on four essential goals to drive success: ensuring happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and maintaining on-budget operations—all of which contribute to a thriving, sustainable community environment.
The role of Lead Concierge at Resort Lifestyle Communities offers a unique opportunity to be the welcoming face of this extraordinary community. As the first point of contact for residents, families, and guests, the Lead Concierge plays a vital role in shaping the resident experience and supporting the daily functions of the community. This position is more than just a customer service role; it is a leadership opportunity within the community's operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an elevated first impression by greeting everyone warmly, answering phones with professionalism, and anticipating needs to create seamless and memorable interactions.
Beyond daily greetings, the Lead Concierge supports a wide range of operational needs such as coordinating transportation, assisting with room-service requests, and managing guest suite reservations. The role also involves supporting dining services during peak times and ensuring proper alcohol service according to local regulations. An important part of the job is enhancing safety and security within the community, responding promptly to emergencies and guiding residents through emergency procedures.
The Lead Concierge is a key player in fostering a collaborative team culture, attending leadership meetings, and contributing ideas to improve resident satisfaction. They serve as a training partner for new concierge team members and provide leadership coverage in the absence of managers. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the security of the premises during shift hours are essential responsibilities.
This full-time position requires the ability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a competitive compensation package and a wide array of benefits. RLC offers employees access to pay anytime, a substantial benefits stipend to allocate toward health, dental, vision, insurance coverages, and other financial protection plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) with employer match. Working at RLC means joining a purpose-driven environment where your service directly impacts the lives of seniors, in a beautiful, supportive setting.
For candidates who are at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and have a passion for serving others with kindness and professionalism, this role provides a rewarding career path. Bringing your servant heart to RLC means becoming part of a family that values each person's contributions and offers a meaningful, stable workplace where you can grow and thrive.
