The Concierge Supervisor role at Monarch Communities plays a critical leadership position within the community, leading the Concierge Team Members to deliver exceptional service and a positive first impression to all visitors and residents. This full-time, hourly position requires an individual who is organized, communicative, and service-oriented, reporting directly to the Business Office Manager. Working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, this role offers an hourly wage between $20.00 and $22.00.
In this role, the Concierge Supervisor coordinates schedules, assigns daily tasks, and ensures front desk operations are running smoothly. The position involves supporting sales and marketing efforts by providing comprehensive information about community offerings to prospective residents and their families. Additionally, the supervisor responds to incoming calls, manages clerical support functions across departments, oversees office supply inventory, and coordinates maintenance for all office equipment to maintain an efficient work environment.
Beyond administrative duties, the Concierge Supervisor monitors security systems, including alarms and emergency call systems, and keeps important logs such as emergency phone numbers and resident emergency face sheets updated. The role demands strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate warmly and effectively with a diverse population, especially the senior residents the community serves. Furthermore, the Concierge Supervisor is expected to assist with administrative projects and participate in ongoing training to maintain compliance with all regulations and community policies, fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
This position requires physical abilities such as standing, walking, sitting, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds using proper body mechanics. Job Duties
- Schedules Concierge Team Members to ensure appropriate front desk coverage
- Assigns daily task and ensure completion of tasks
- Assists the Business Operations Director and Sales Counselor with special projects
- Ensures appropriate office supplies are on hand
- Coordinates maintenance of all office equipment
- Answers and screens all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Receives and processes mail for the community
- Maintains and updates log of emergency phone numbers and resident emergency face sheets
- Monitors security alarms, resident emergency call system, and front door security
- Orders and maintains appropriate office supplies
- Assists the Business Operations Director in administrative tasks as assigned
- Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled
- Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
