Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a renowned company dedicated to serving seniors with a mission that transcends a simple job description. RLC is a fast-growing, family-owned company that manages over 60 communities nationwide, providing a supportive leadership team and a beautiful, resort-style environment where employees and residents alike feel valued. At RLC, the core values of respect, honesty, kindness, compassion, and service excellence guide every interaction and decision within the communities. These values foster a culture centered on servant-hearted service, community involvement, and an unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors. The company’s success is anchored by four essential goals: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. These goals drive RLC to maintain an exceptional quality of life and superior operational standards across all its locations.
The Lead Concierge role at Resort Lifestyle Communities offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about making a meaningful impact in seniors’ lives by providing warm, attentive, and professional service. As the welcoming face of the community, the Lead Concierge is responsible for greeting residents, families, and guests, answering phone inquiries, and ensuring that every interaction feels personal and seamless. This position is a critical part of the community leadership team, contributing directly to the culture, daily operations, and resident experience. The Lead Concierge coordinates transportation, manages guest suite reservations, assists with room service requests, supports dining areas during peak times, and facilitates event setups. Additionally, the role demands responsibility for resident safety, such as responding to emergencies, monitoring call systems, and liaising with emergency services.
Beyond operational support, the Lead Concierge also serves an active leadership function by attending team meetings, collaborating on resident experience improvements, and supporting key community initiatives. One of the vital aspects of this role includes training new Concierge team members and providing leadership coverage when management is unavailable. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who values teamwork and reliability.
The position requires the ability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and be capable of safely valet parking vehicles. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Applicants should have strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills, alongside a professional appearance and excellent communication abilities. Adaptability and flexibility are essential for this role, as duties can shift and vary. Knowledge of the local community and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are preferred. Furthermore, the role requires compliance with local alcohol service regulations and the acquisition of food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
In return, RLC offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, and a benefit stipend which can be applied towards health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, and more. Employees also enjoy access to their pay at any time, fostering financial flexibility and security. This role is ideal for those who are driven by purpose, personal connection, and the opportunity to contribute to a positive and impactful environment where their efforts truly make a difference every day. Joining RLC means joining a family-focused community, dedicated to excellence and heartfelt service, with plenty of opportunities for personal growth and meaningful work.
