This role involves a leadership position within the clinical structure of Children's Health Center. The position is responsible for leading and coordinating daily clinical operations to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. The candidate will manage patient flow, oversee admissions, discharges, and transfers, and respond to unforeseen events while optimizing resource use. As a clinical lead, the individual will hold staff accountable to established care standards, interpret policies for clinical and paraprofessional personnel, and maintain a supportive and safe working culture. A significant part of the role includes providing quality psychotherapy, conducting clinical assessments, diagnosing, and treating patients independently. The position also requires maintaining professional relationships with hospital staff, physicians, and community agencies, and representing the organization in professional presentations and community engagements.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing communication to foster trust and fairness amongst team members and customers, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, implementing quality improvement projects, and supporting staff in training and professional development. The clinical lead will be integral in planning for both current and future clinical needs, facilitating service recovery strategies, handling conflict, and enhancing patient experience. The role specifically demands a deep understanding of psychological principles, child and adolescent development, and effective behavior modification techniques. This position is scheduled from 7 pm to 7:30 am, averaging 24 hours per week.
