Job Description

America's Rehab Campus is a leading healthcare facility specializing in rehabilitation services dedicated to helping patients recover and regain their independence in a supportive and professional environment. As a reputable employer within the healthcare sector, America's Rehab Campus focuses on delivering exceptional patient care through a team of skilled professionals who are committed to fostering wellness and recovery. The organization values inclusivity and diversity, complying with Veteran and ADA regulations and promoting a drug-free workplace to ensure a safe and productive environment for all employees and patients alike.

The Receptionist role at America's Rehab Campus is a crucial position that combines customer service, administrative support, and communication skills to maintain a smooth and efficient front desk operation. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and patients, responsible for greeting individuals with professionalism and courtesy while managing a variety of clerical tasks. The Receptionist handles the switchboard operations, ensuring callers are promptly and correctly routed, and manages both incoming deliveries and the processing of incoming and outgoing mail. Attention to detail is essential in preparing weekday deposits and monthly statements for mailing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

In addition to routine clerical duties, the Receptionist may be assigned to assist with the completion of paperwork associated with new admissions during after-hours shifts. This aspect of the job highlights the importance of flexibility and reliability, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Maintaining the Receptionist schedule and serving as backup support underscores the requirement for organizational skills and the capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Applicants for this position should be familiar with VOIP switchboard operations and paging systems, demonstrate strong telephone etiquette, and exhibit proficiency with basic business office software. Communication skills are paramount, as the Receptionist must interact effectively with patients, visitors, and team members alike while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in dynamic environments and take pride in being an essential part of a healthcare team that positively impacts patients’ lives. The role requires a high degree of tact, patience, and resourcefulness as employees engage with diverse patient populations and handle potentially sensitive situations, including emergency responses. America's Rehab Campus prioritizes professional development and compliance, requiring certifications such as CPR/FA and various clearance cards within the first 90 days of employment.

Overall, this position offers a meaningful career path within a respected healthcare establishment where the Receptionist plays a vital role in supporting both administration and patient care. America's Rehab Campus embraces equal opportunity employment and supports employees with ongoing training and a commitment to a safe, respectful workplace culture.
