Job Description

ABM is a globally recognized leader in facility services, known for delivering comprehensive solutions that enhance the environments in which people live, work, and play. Founded in 1909, ABM has grown to serve over 20,000 clients with a wide-ranging suite of services including janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, HVAC, landscape and turf management, and more. Operating out of more than 350 offices worldwide, ABM's footprint spans the United States, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and other international markets. This extensive network supports over 100,000 team members committed to maintaining cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable spaces. ABM prides itself on being a military- and veteran-friendly employer, providing inclusive opportunities and resources for individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences. As part of its commitment to equal opportunity employment, ABM ensures a welcoming environment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. The company also participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-Verify program, reinforcing its dedication to legal compliance and workforce integrity.

The Lead role at ABM is a vital position that requires reliability, experience, and leadership to ensure seamless facility operations. This role acts as the key point of contact and supervisor when the facility manager is not present, making critical decisions to maintain safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. A Lead at ABM coordinates daily schedules, delegates job assignments, and provides necessary guidance to team members to uphold the high standards set by the company. The position often involves hands-on duties such as operating specialized cleaning equipment, handling cleaning chemicals safely, and supporting general janitorial responsibilities as needed. Additionally, the Lead is responsible for overseeing the quality of work performed, ensuring that all tasks meet client expectations and company policies. They manage communication between field employees and management, document client interactions, and play a crucial role in onboarding and training new hires according to company procedures. This position is ideal for individuals entering or returning to the workforce, including those with limited formal education and experience, making ABM an excellent place for career growth and skill development. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, detailed on its employee benefits site, which supports the health, well-being, and professional advancement of its team members.
