This position is an exciting opportunity to join ABM as a Lead (Shift Leader) at the One Memorial Stadium location in Lincoln, NE. The Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring that all facility operations adhere to established policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both workers and customers. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily operations by delegating jobs, providing clear guidance, and supervising the team in the absence of the Manager. The position demands a proactive approach to facility maintenance, including operating specialized cleaning equipment, handling chemicals safely, supporting general janitorial duties, and overseeing all cleaning tasks to meet the highest standards. The Lead will manage work schedules, document communications, monitor supply levels, and report any damages or issues with equipment or property features. This role requires flexibility for shifts Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work on advance notice. The available shifts include morning, evening, and overnight schedules, providing options to accommodate different lifestyles and preferences. The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.00, with the final offer influenced by the candidate’s experience, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • no high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
  • ability to follow assigned work schedules and route cards

  • ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals safely

Job Qualifications

  • one year of similar work experience preferred
  • one year of customer service experience preferred
  • one year of lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • ability to operate specialized cleaning equipment
  • good communication and leadership skills
  • basic understanding of safety regulations

Job Duties
