Within this vibrant and dynamic company, the position of Lead or Shift Leader plays a pivotal role in supporting daily facility operations by ensuring compliance with all established policies and procedures. This role involves overseeing cleaning duties, coordinating work schedules, delegating tasks, and providing valuable guidance and leadership to the team members on site. The Lead acts as the point of contact and supervisor when the Manager is not present, maintaining open communication between field employees and management while ensuring the facilities are safe, clean, and compliant with company standards.

The Shift Leader is responsible for managing the operation of specialized cleaning equipment, handling chemicals safely, and performing general janitorial duties as needed. This role requires a reliable individual who can monitor quality, report any issues with facility infrastructure or service delivery, manage keys and access cards for the property, and assist with training new hires in accordance with onboarding protocols. Attention to detail, leadership skills, and the ability to maintain a positive and productive work environment are essential qualities for success in this position.

This opportunity offers a pay rate of $19.50 per hour for the Wednesday to Saturday shift from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required
  • Ability to work Wednesday to Saturday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM shifts
  • Reliable transportation to and from work site
  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures
  • Physical ability to perform janitorial duties and operate cleaning equipment safely

Job Qualifications

  • 1 year of similar work experience
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of lead or supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to provide leadership and supervision
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate specialized cleaning equipment safely
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed, report any barriers
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members
  • Provide open communication between field employees and management, monitor and document client communications
  • Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules
  • Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building
  • Take care of keys and access cards for the property
  • Report damaged, broken and out of work features/items
  • Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag job) in assigned building
  • Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager
  • Provide training for all new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures
  • Complete and validate any time records for regular or subcontractor employees
  • Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
