The company is also recognized for its inclusive work environment and commitment to equal opportunity employment, emphasizing support for veterans, persons with disabilities, and diverse applicants.
The Lead Cleaner role at ABM is a pivotal position that involves overseeing and leading a cleaning team to ensure superior cleanliness and maintenance of assigned properties. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce, with limited experience or formal education, and those with military backgrounds looking to transition into civilian roles. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging between $20.90 and $21.90, depending on experience, skills, and location. As Lead Cleaner, you will provide direction, motivation, and guidance to your team, helping coordinate schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring the quality of cleaning operations. In addition to typical cleaning duties, you will manage security protocols such as key and access card management and assist in maintenance reporting and snow removal during winter months. Training new hires and facilitating communications among team members, clients, and management also fall within your responsibilities.
This role is ideal for candidates who appreciate hands-on leadership and who want to develop their supervisory skills in a supportive, industry-leading company. ABM’s comprehensive benefits package further enhances the employment value, offering health, dental, vision, and retirement options, among others. ABM actively supports the career development of its employees through robust training programs and encourages applications from veterans and those with military occupational specialty experience.
