This specific role is for a Lead, who plays a pivotal role in upholding the operational standards and ensuring that all facility operations conform to company policies and procedures. The Lead is entrusted with overseeing daily operations at an assigned location, coordinating job assignments, and delivering direct guidance to the team members on site. They step into a supervisory position when the Manager is absent, thereby maintaining a seamless workflow and operational integrity during such times. The Shift Leader is responsible for enforcing the company’s standards to maintain cleanliness and safety across the buildings and facilities, which is crucial to providing a secure and pleasant environment for workers and customers alike. The role also demands hands-on responsibilities such as operating specialized equipment, managing cleaning chemicals safely, and performing general janitorial duties as necessary. Scheduled from Monday to Friday, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, this position offers an hourly pay rate of $15.00, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals entering the workforce or those returning with limited experience and education. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to follow assigned work schedules and instructions
  • Capability to operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals safely
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
  • Physical ability to perform janitorial duties
  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Ability to manage keys and access cards responsibly

Job Qualifications

  • One year of similar work experience preferred
  • One year of customer service experience preferred
  • One year of lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to operate specialized cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of safety protocols regarding cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to train and guide team members
  • High school diploma, GED, or college degree not required but beneficial
