The Lead position at ABM offers a critical role in maintaining and ensuring proper facility operations in accordance with company policies and procedures. This part-time role is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with an hourly wage of $15.00. As a Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily operations by delegating job assignments and providing direction and leadership to team members. Acting as the supervisor in the absence of the Manager, the Lead plays an essential role in upholding safety standards, monitoring the cleanliness and functionality of the building or assigned facilities, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and customers.
This position requires hands-on involvement with janitorial tasks, operation of specialized equipment, and the handling of cleaning chemicals in a safe manner. The Lead will be expected to monitor team performance, assist in scheduling, maintain communication between employees and management, and document client interactions. Additional responsibilities include training new staff, managing keys and access cards securely, reporting facility issues promptly, verifying quality of work, and managing supplies and equipment checks on a weekly basis.

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma, GED, or college degree not required
- Ability to follow assigned work schedules and route cards
- Willingness to perform janitorial duties
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Ability to provide leadership and direction to team members
- Capability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
Job Qualifications
- One year of similar work experience preferred
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- One year of lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
