Job Requirements
- High School degree or GED
- Minimum of 5 years culinary experience
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
- SERV Safe certification
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and MSDS information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Commitment to faith and maturity in a walk with Jesus Christ

Job Duties
- Assist the Food Service Manager with preparing the department's yearly budget and working within the budget's constraints
- Direct kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and cleanup
- Assist in overseeing food service needs for the Daycare to ensure all needs are being met
- Assign tasks and duties, supervise attendants, cooks, stewarding, volunteers, and specialty department coordinators
- Assist in menu planning, ordering, and implementing donations from outside resources to create a nutritional and healthy menu
- Maintain an open relationship with all vendors and donation providers through deliveries and communication
- Resolve any issues as they arise and bring issues to the attention of the Food and Beverage Manager
- Maintain all kitchen reports such as temperature logs and meal counts
- Always uphold a clean environment and be in a state of readiness for all inspections
