The Lead Cashier at Ulta Beauty plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency of guest transactions while maintaining exceptional cashwrap standards, including cleanliness and overall aesthetics. This role requires expertise in cashiering as well as strong leadership skills to assist in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates. The Lead Cashier is not only responsible for driving loyalty results through sales, guest experience, and credit but also plays a key part in supporting the leadership team with register open and close functions, associate exit inspections, and cashier chat ins/outs. A passion for delivering outstanding guest service and process excellence is essential, along with the ability to engage guests about the benefits of Ulta Beauty's Loyalty Life Cycle and contribute positively to store goals.

This position demands a proactive, collaborative leader who can influence peers and foster an environment where guests receive personalized, exceptional service. Beyond transactional duties, the Lead Cashier is instrumental in supporting sales by pairing guests with the right associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, product demonstrations, and by booking appointments for services and in-store events. Meticulous care is expected in maintaining the organization and replenishment of all cashwrap displays, ensuring a guest-ready environment at all times. The role includes adhering to company policies, supporting operational excellence, and championing Ulta Beauty’s mission and values in every interaction. With a pay range of $17.50 to $26.00 per hour, this position is open to both full-time and part-time associates, offering benefits such as paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance for eligible employees.
