The Lead Cashier role at Ulta Beauty is dynamic and essential to delivering an exceptional shopping experience. Experienced in multitasking and problem-solving, the Lead Cashier supports store leadership with open and close register functions, associate exit inspections, and cashier chat-ins/outs. Job Requirements

High school diploma preferred
two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
must be 18 years or older
ability to perform physical tasks including bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
continuous mobility during shifts
willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s retail and service sales goals including omni-channel and guest loyalty
ensure exceptional guest service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, and recommending products
handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges courteously
support makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with associates
book appointments and support in-store event execution
maintain cashwrap displays and supplies for guest readiness
assist in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates
support leadership with register open and close functions, cashier chats, and associate exit inspections
ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and dress code
maintain store cleanliness and protect company assets by adhering to loss prevention and safety standards
participate in ongoing training and collaborate with store managers and associates to drive business growth
