Job Requirements
- high school diploma preferred
- two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must be at least 18 years of age
- continuous mobility throughout store during shift
- frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, and reaching
- frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs
- ability to coordinate and manipulate objects during shift
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma preferred

- demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and competency for selling
- experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- proficient with basic technology including Point of Sale system and Apple devices

Job Duties
- contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty including credit, and retail shrink
- ensure each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service, and recommending products and services
- handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously
- pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events
- maintain replenishment, organization, and maintenance of cashwrap displays and supplies
- support leadership team with register functions, cashier chat ins and chat outs, and associate exit inspections
- promote benefits of guest loyalty program including credit and Ulta Beauty app
- assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates
- engage and influence peers for productivity and performance
- ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
- complete transactions and control cash and media according to company policies
- maintain outstanding store standards and cleanliness
- protect company assets by following operating procedures
- participate in ongoing training
- collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
