The Lead Cashier role at Ulta Beauty is a dynamic and integral position responsible for ensuring the efficiency and excellence of all guest transactions at the cashwrap. This position not only involves everyday cashier duties but also includes the leadership aspect of training new cashiers and cross-training other associates in cashiering processes. The Lead Cashier plays a key role in driving loyalty results by focusing on sales, guest experience, and the loyalty program. They support the leadership team by handling open and close register functions, conducting associate exit inspections, and managing cashier chat-ins and chat-outs. The role demands a strong passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and process excellence. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to proactively collaborate, lead, and influence peers while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and aesthetics at the cashwrap area. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to contribute to achieving sales, service, and shrink goals. The pay range for this position is $21.30 to $25.50 per hour, with exact pay based on qualifications and experience. Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, while part-time employees receive dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Ulta Beauty also offers overtime pay for eligible associates as mandated by law. The Lead Cashier must be at least 18 years old and willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
