The Lead Cashier (LC) role at Ulta Beauty is a pivotal position, focused on ensuring the efficiency and excellence of guest transactions and maintaining high standards of the cashwrap area including cleanliness and the overall visual appeal. Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Flexible schedule availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs and continuous mobility throughout the store
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years of relevant cashiering or retail experience preferred
- Proven ability to delegate, multitask, and problem-solve
- Strong knowledge and passion for guest service and selling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties
- Ensure efficient and excellent guest transactions and maintain cashwrap standards including cleanliness and aesthetics
- Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates
- Drive loyalty results through performance in sales, guest experience, and credit programs
- Support leadership with register opening and closing, cashier chat ins/outs, and associate exit inspections
- Engage guests by personalizing service and recommending Ulta Beauty products and services
- Maintain and organize cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures
- Adhere to and enforce Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and compliance standards
