The Lead Cashier role at Ulta Beauty is essential in creating seamless and positive guest experiences at the cash wrap area. This position is designed for a proactive individual with excellent leadership skills who can drive performance through an emphasis on sales, guest loyalty, and cashiering excellence. The Lead Cashier ensures efficient transactions while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and visual appeal at the cash wrap. This position also involves training new cashiers, cross-training other associates, and supporting the leadership team with register opening and closing functions, associate exit inspections, and cashier chat in/outs. The Lead Cashier plays a crucial role in promoting Ulta Beauty’s loyalty program and credit offerings to maximize guest engagement and store profitability.

This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Associates must be 18 years or older to qualify for this lead position.

Ulta Beauty offers competitive pay ranging from $18.04 to $25.50 per hour, depending on factors like experience, education, location, and shift.
