The Lead Cashier role at Ulta Beauty is a vital position responsible for ensuring the efficiency and excellence of guest transactions while maintaining high cashwrap standards in cleanliness and aesthetics. The Lead Cashier is experienced in cashiering and plays a key role in training new cashiers as well as cross-training other associates, demonstrating leadership abilities to proactively collaborate and influence peers. This position is pivotal in driving the store's loyalty results, focusing on sales, guest experience, and loyalty programs, including credit offers. The Lead Cashier works closely with the leadership team to perform open and close register functions, conduct associate exit inspections, and manage cashier chat-ins and chat-outs.

The role demands a passion for delivering exceptional guest experience, process excellence, and accountability in achieving store goals. Lead Cashiers are expected to engage guests by sharing the benefits of loyalty programs and assisting with personalized service such as makeup applications and product demonstrations. Ulta Beauty offers competitive compensation ranging from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other factors.
