Job Description

United Ground Express is a leading provider of essential ground handling services within the aviation industry. As a vital extension of the United Airlines network, the company specializes in ensuring that aircraft are clean, safe, and efficiently serviced to support seamless flight operations. Operating at numerous airports nationwide, including the major hub at Denver International Airport, United Ground Express prides itself on delivering high-quality service with a focus on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The company is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace that values teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement.

The position of Lead Cabin Appearance Agent at United Ground Express offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about aviation operations and leadership. This role is fundamental in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of aircraft cabins, directly impacting the passenger experience. As a Lead Cabin Appearance Agent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily cabin cleaning operations, ensuring all aircraft interiors are spotless and well-stocked. This includes removing trash, cleaning lavatories, replenishing magazines, and sanitizing floors, seats, trays, and galley areas.

The position also requires performing daily equipment checks and security searches to maintain compliance with safety standards. Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, such as face shields and hearing protection, is mandatory to ensure health and safety standards. Beyond these duties, the Lead Agent will manage and coordinate the tasks of the cleaning crew, provide guidance and coaching to team members, and communicate effectively with supervisory staff and other hub services agents.

The role demands a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints, especially in a fast-paced airport environment. Candidates must be alert to the surroundings, including moving vehicles and aircraft, and proficient in using communication devices such as radios. The job also involves handling sensitive information such as aircraft weight and balance loading instructions and hazardous material identification. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and be able to work flexible hours including day and night shifts, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime based on operational needs.

Pay for this position is competitive at $20.79 per hour, reflecting the importance of the role within airline ground operations. Employment is on-site at Denver International Airport, ensuring direct involvement in the day-to-day activities that keep airline operations running smoothly. United Ground Express offers a supportive and growth-oriented work environment with opportunities for career advancement for those dedicated to the profession.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and leadership responsibilities within a team setting and who thrive in an environment that values safety, professionalism, and customer service excellence. You will join a committed team that plays a crucial part in delivering a positive experience for airline passengers and supporting the efficiency of airline schedules. United Ground Express is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion across all levels of operations.
