The Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor role at Drury Hotels is a dynamic leadership position within the Kitchen+Bar team. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One experience bartending required
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to handle money, make change, and utilize office machines in day-to-day activities
- Ability to operate cash register, POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment, etc.
- Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and lead team members professionally
- Ability to open and close bar and maintain assigned areas
- Ability to distinguish currency denominations and make proper change
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One experience bartending required
- Two or more years of bartender and supervisory experience preferred
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of two years of college preferred
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed
- Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and lead team members professionally
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies and procedures
- Maintain the food prep and hotel bar area in a clean, well-organized manner
- Serve and assist guests ensuring high standards of service and hospitality
- Lead and support the Kitchen+Bar team promoting Drury Hotels culture
- Answer guest questions regarding hotel, local area, and events
- Manage supplies necessary for mixing cocktails and bar operations
- Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed
