The Lead Bartender at Westin Tampa Bay will be the face of the bar area, responsible for delivering memorable guest experiences through genuine connections and engaging service from greeting to departure. This role requires someone quick on their feet, attentive to guest needs, and proficient in preparing a wide variety of beverages accurately and efficiently. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- current bartender certification or appropriate license
- 2-4 years of bartending experience
- knowledge of beverage preparation and mixology
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
- maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
- guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
- be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests
- work collaboratively with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- assist guests with concerns and guide them to a satisfactory resolution
- finalize guest experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
- requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits
- maintain stock, cutting, and storage of fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables
- mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard recipes and portion control
- input orders into point-of-sale system and create checks
- lock up and store beverages, food, and equipment, deposit cash drops and secure bank
