HHM Hotels offers multiple opportunities for career growth within the food and beverage sector, ensuring that associates are supported and trained for advancement within the organization.
The role of Lead Bartender at HHM Hotels is a pivotal position within the food and beverage team. This supervisory role involves overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage outlets and services, with a particular focus on maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, food quality, and associate performance. The Lead Bartender not only prepares and serves drinks but also plays a critical role in managing staff schedules, training, coaching, and ensuring compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations. Candidates for this position will have supervisory experience in a restaurant or banquet setting, a solid background in food service, and a thorough knowledge of bar service and liquor inventory controls.
This role requires a dynamic individual who can balance hands-on bartending duties with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that guests receive an outstanding service experience while supporting and motivating the team. The Lead Bartender is responsible for ensuring adherence to all state, federal, and corporate policies related to alcohol service, maintaining inventory levels, and safeguarding food and beverage quality. The role involves interaction with guests to gauge satisfaction levels, managing par levels of supplies, and stepping in to perform service tasks during high volume periods or staff shortages.
Given the physical demands, the candidate must be prepared to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various physical activities including bending, reaching, and kneeling. The position also requires working varied shifts, including holidays and weekends. This opportunity offers a clear career path advancing to roles such as Beverage/Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, and Food and Beverage Manager, making it ideal for motivated professionals seeking growth in the hospitality industry. HHM Hotels provides a supportive environment with a focus on safety, sustainability, and guest satisfaction.
