Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous barista or customer service experience
- leadership skills or willingness to develop in a leadership role
- ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and walking
- strong communication skills

- knowledge of safety and hygiene procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role
- leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in drink preparation and food handling
- ability to coach and mentor team members
- good organizational and multitasking abilities
- basic knowledge of merchandising and inventory practices
- customer service excellence
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Job Duties
- Maintain reliable and punctual attendance
- fill scheduling gaps and be flexible for early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
- lead by example with positivity, purpose, and energy
- support and consider colleagues by going out of your way to help
- provide cheerful and attentive customer service
- learn new skills and support others in skill development
- act as a resource addressing concerns and escalating issues
- use mastered skills to coach drink making and food preparation
- coach the café team in merchandising and maintaining bake case presentation and cleanliness
- guide baristas on visual merchandising and retail fixture maintenance
- improve register speed and accuracy through coaching
- support baristas in receiving deliveries and stocking with FIFO practices
- ensure café cleanliness with daily and weekly cleaning tasks
- support bookfloor presentation standards
- coach the team on loss prevention and safety
- place accurate food and beverage orders
- complete monthly inventory and waste logs
- coach team in food and beverage recommendations
- lead focus on key sales objectives such as promotions and membership
- use café training tools to broaden team experience
- uphold café safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
