The Lead Barista role at Lucky Goat Coffee Dunwoody Park is a key leadership position responsible for elevating the customer experience through exceptional drink creation, team leadership, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include overseeing quality control, maintaining food safety standards, handling cash and loss prevention processes, and assisting in staff leadership during opening and closing shifts. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in coffee preparation or café operations preferred
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods
Must be a dedicated and supportive team player
Flexible availability including weekends
Strong work ethic and willingness to accomplish tasks
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple responsibilities

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of coffee processes and café operations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for hospitality and customer service
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with team members and customers
Experience with cash handling and point of sale systems
Ability to perform espresso drink making and latte art creation

Job Duties

Partner with the Café Leader to lead and manage store operations efficiently
Ensure high-quality coffee drink preparation including espresso and latte art
Foster a positive, inviting café environment that aligns with the Lucky Goat Coffee brand
Oversee cash handling and loss prevention, perform all POS duties and maintain key carrier status
Maintain food and beverage preparation standards compliant with Food Safety regulations
Lead and support café teams during opening and closing shifts to ensure readiness for customers
Participate in driving company promotions and events for staff and customers
