This role is a Lead Starbucks Barista position located at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is a full-time job requiring 40 hours per week, with shifts spanning from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday, including every other weekend. The Lead Starbucks Barista is responsible for managing the provision of nutrition services, ensuring high-quality production and delivery of a wide variety of intricate beverage recipes based on standardized methods. Collaborating closely with a fast-paced, high-volume work environment, the individual will utilize specialized kitchen equipment and uphold strict sanitation and safety standards. The position requires monitoring food and ingredient quality, training new staff members, and overseeing cash handling procedures at the end of shifts. Additionally, the role encompasses making critical decisions to resolve departmental concerns and leading technical training or departmental orientation tasks.
