The Lead Bar Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining and elevating the bar operations within the venue. This supervisory position focuses on managing the bar team and ensuring the delivery of excellent service in a high-volume setting. The supervisor is responsible for mentoring and leading bartenders, overseeing daily bar activities, and sustaining exceptional quality in every beverage served. The role demands a proactive leader capable of working through late-night hours, especially given the venue’s closing time at 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. Job Duties
- Supervise the daily operations of our high-volume bar
- Maintain exceptional quality and consistency in every drink served
- Recruit, train, and cultivate a dedicated team of bartenders
- Deliver an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced, energetic late-night setting
- Foster a vibrant bar culture that emphasizes knowledge, service excellence, and team collaboration
- Collaborate closely with senior management and the floor team to ensure fluid service throughout
- Ensure adherence to all licensing, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
- Manage inventory levels, oversee ordering, and build strong supplier relationships
- Revamp and maintain an innovative bar menu, focusing on seasonal and exciting cocktails and wines
- Be a visible presence on the floor during peak hours, particularly during late-night shifts
