Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years baking experience
  • previous leadership or shift lead experience preferred
  • strong knowledge of food safety and recipes
  • ability to stand long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs
  • ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask
  • passion for brand mission and culture

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of baking experience preferably in high-volume settings
  • previous team leadership or shift lead experience preferred
  • strong knowledge of food safety and preparation procedures
  • ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain
  • ability to lead calmly under pressure
  • strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • effective communication and team collaboration abilities
  • passion for bakery hospitality and customer satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Lead daily baking operations including breads, pastries, and donuts
  • follow established production methods and maintain organized workflow
  • prepare creams, fillings, icings, and toppings from scratch or components
  • manage daily production plans and workflows to meet cafe demand
  • assign daily tasks to team members based on skill level and production priorities
  • coach the bake team on prep, timing, quality, and efficiency
  • adapt production schedules and product quantities based on sales trends and staffing levels
