Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior baking experience in a professional foodservice setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed recipes
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Availability to work varied shifts including early mornings and weekends

- Proficient in baking techniques and methods with a solid understanding of food production processes
- Experience in the food industry particularly in a bakery or kitchen
- Strong food handling skills to ensure safe preparation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with customers
- Basic software and computer skills
- A passion for both learning and teaching
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes accurately to maintain consistency in quality and presentation
- Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are adhered to during food preparation
- Assist with special orders by preparing items as requested while meeting deadlines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area including proper storage of ingredients
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to management
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers regarding their orders and preferences
