Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
1 year of bakery experience preferred
current Food Handler's Permit
ability to read and follow a recipe
basic math skills
ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
strong communication skills
ability to handle customer interactions professionally

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
1 year of bakery experience preferred
current Food Handler's Permit
experience mixing, proofing and baking quickly, efficiently and with quality, professional results
ability to read and follow a recipe
basic math skills used to half or double recipes
knowledge of mixing, cooking, baking, and assembling procedures and times for sweet goods
ability to interpret policies and procedures
excellent organization and planning skills
solid communication skills including verbal and listening skills
ability to handle conflict professionally
ability to accept constructive review and be accountable
makes logical, significant decisions using recognized skills and techniques
integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, self-directed
passion for Harmons' mission and commitment to collaboration
ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays

Job Duties

Shares accountability with Bakery Manager for production levels, product assortment, product inventory levels and product quality
follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the bakery provides
responsible for maintaining the appropriate product rotation and inventory levels for the bakery
confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
ensures the bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
delivers excellent customer service to all customers
follows production sheets and adheres to product rotation to ensure appropriate levels of Harmons fresh baked products
performs other job-related duties as assigned
