Job Description

Universal Kids Resort is a premier entertainment destination specializing in providing immersive and family-friendly attractions and experiences. Known for its unique blend of attractions, shows, and interactive play areas, Universal Kids Resort focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences tailored specifically for children and their families. As an integral part of Universal’s expansive network of theme parks and resorts, the resort combines world-class entertainment with a safe and enjoyable environment for guests of all ages.

This role centers on overseeing and leading daily operations at various attractions within the resort, including water and dry play areas, shows, and rides. Serving as a critical link between the Attractions Supervisors and Team Members, the position ensures smooth operation, safety compliance, and exceptional guest service throughout the resort. The Supervisor will monitor ride and attraction readiness by routinely inspecting equipment, loading gates, restraints, and vehicles to guarantee compliance with strict operational and safety standards. This position also involves hands-on responsibilities, including performing attendant duties when necessary and actively participating in safety critical functions during daily operations.

The Supervisor plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment by motivating and leading Team Members, conducting daily briefings, and providing ongoing training to ensure all staff members meet the comprehensive operational and guest service expectations aligned with Universal Destinations and Experiences (UDX). A particular emphasis is placed on maintaining kid-focused guest service standards and ensuring adherence to the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) throughout the resort.

Additionally, the Supervisor manages administrative tasks such as staffing level adjustments to match park attendance, maintaining operational reports, overseeing timekeeping accuracy, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies. Effective communication is paramount as this position serves as the first point of contact for Team Members concerning training and operational issues. The ability to spot deficiencies and report quality concerns related to shows and facilities further enhances the role’s impact on maintaining Universal Kids Resort’s high standards.

This is a leadership role that requires flexibility with scheduling and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Supervisory responsibilities include ensuring organizational policies and legal guidelines are followed diligently. Candidates with leadership experience and a passion for guest service excellence, particularly in a theme park or entertainment setting, will find this role rewarding. The position offers a competitive compensation package and is a crucial opportunity to contribute to the success of one of the most beloved family entertainment destinations globally.
