Job Description

Igloo Products Corp. is an iconic American brand that has been a leader in the housewares industry for over 75 years. Known for its exceptional and durable coolers, Igloo caters to everyday needs while inspiring outdoor experiences centered around fun, family, and friends. Founded originally as a metalworking shop that provided fresh cold water to Texas workers in the field, Igloo evolved into an innovative company, inventing the Playmate cooler and becoming America's most recognizable brand of ice chests. Today, Igloo boasts over 90% brand awareness and holds the number one market share in the US. The company is also a pioneer in sustainability within its category, launching biodegradable coolers and those made from post-consumer recycled resin and other sustainable materials. Furthermore, Igloo has a growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) business, fostering direct relationships with customers. In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands, opening up opportunities for global growth, combining strengths from both brands to provide even better products and customer experience. Igloo emphasizes continuous growth and innovation, providing a dynamic and fast-paced global environment where employees can grow and face new challenges.

The Assembly Line Lead role at Igloo Products Corp. is a vital leadership position within the manufacturing operation responsible for supervising assembly lines to ensure the production of high-quality coolers in a safe environment. The individual in this role leads and motivates assembly line employees, ensuring proper training, safety procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role requires detailed oversight of daily operations—verifying job reports, monitoring production efficiencies, maintaining quality standards, and promptly addressing any issues affecting safety, quality, or line performance. The Assembly Line Lead manages pre-shift and post-shift reporting, enforces compliance with all safety and quality requirements, and ensures unused components are returned and production materials are accounted for at shift’s end. This role also includes troubleshooting operational challenges, sustaining cleanliness and organization in work areas, and upholding company standards and core values. The position demands a hands-on leader who has experience in supervisory roles and is capable of performing tasks such as screw gunning, foaming, cleaning, and installing drain plugs. This is a physically demanding role involving extended periods of standing, lifting, and operating in varying environmental conditions including hot and humid summers and cold winters. The company offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, support for employee growth, and an inclusive workplace culture committed to equality and respect. Overall, this position is ideal for someone passionate about operational excellence, safety, and fostering a positive team environment within a leading lifestyle brand's manufacturing setting.
