As a key finance partner, the Lead Analyst is responsible for managing critical financial processes, including month-end close activities, budgeting, variance analysis, and audit support, ensuring all activities adhere to GAAP principles and corporate policies. This highly collaborative role requires not only precision and attention to detail but also the ability to transform raw data into insights that drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

In this role, the Lead Analyst will be entrusted with preparing monthly journal entries and supporting the overall financial closing process. They will analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts associated with the plants and participate actively in business planning, including coordinating the annual budget with plant managers. A significant part of their responsibility revolves around continuous monitoring of manufacturing and cost center variances, ensuring variance analysis supports strategic decision-making at the plants. In addition, the role involves maintaining robust monthly control documentation to facilitate internal audits and assisting with external audits on a quarterly and annual basis.
