Job Description

ABM is one of the world’s largest providers of facility services and solutions, operating with a commitment to creating cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environments. Founded in 1909, ABM has grown to serve over 20,000 clients globally, with an annualized revenue nearing 8 billion dollars and more than 100,000 team members. The company offers a wide array of essential services, including janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy solutions, HVAC and mechanical services, landscaping, and mission-critical solutions. These services cater to various industries such as commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, entertainment venues, and many more. ABM maintains over 350 offices throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations, positioning itself as a leading force in facility management and services. As a military and veteran-friendly employer, ABM values the skills and experience that individuals with military backgrounds bring and offers comprehensive training programs and career opportunities tailored to veterans transitioning into civilian roles.

The Lead Airline Passenger Assistant role at ABM is pivotal in ensuring compliance with company policies and operational procedures within the facility. This position carries the responsibility of coordinating daily operations by delegating job assignments effectively and providing continuous guidance to team members. A Lead serves as the primary supervisor at an assigned location during the absence of the Manager, embodying established standards to keep the facility safe for both workers and customers. The shift is Thursday through Saturday, from 2:30 pm to 12:30 am, offering a consistent schedule with Sundays through Wednesdays off. The role pays $15 per hour and compensation is provided on a weekly basis. This opportunity is well suited for individuals entering or returning to the workforce, requiring minimal prior education or experience but offering a chance to develop leadership and operational skills. As a Lead, you will have responsibilities that range from overseeing facility cleaning operations, managing keys and access cards, ensuring compliance with schedules, to providing leadership, training new hires, and maintaining communication channels between field employees and management. ABM also emphasizes safety and quality assurance, requiring the Lead to report any barriers, damages, or broken equipment promptly. This position enables hands-on experience with facility management operations and cultivates supervisory capabilities, making it an ideal position for career growth within the facility services industry. Additionally, ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package to its frontline team members, supporting employee wellbeing and work-life balance, which further enhances the attractiveness of this role.
