The role of Catering Manager at Le Meridien Pasadena Arcadia revolves around bringing exceptional hospitality and sales expertise to the forefront. This position is an overtime eligible manager role (OEM), where overtime is applicable and calculated accordingly. Catering Managers at this property play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and enhancing client satisfaction by managing catering sales and event coordination with excellence. The successful candidate will be a dynamic sales professional who excels in cultivating lasting relationships with a diverse clientele, including leisure guests, business travelers, SMERF groups, and more. They will orchestrate seamless event preparations, including banquet orders, event lists, and scheduling, all while maintaining the utmost professionalism and friendliness in guest and team interactions.
This role demands a high level of creativity and organizational skills to customize events in ways that leave clients delighted and eager to return. The Catering Manager will collaborate closely with other departments and management to support special promotions and contribute to team meetings, ensuring the catering and events operations integrate smoothly with overall hotel services. The role also requires a trusted individual who can uphold company policies, safeguard sensitive information, and demonstrate judgment and character befitting a representative of Le Meridien Pasadena Arcadia. As a natural team player and an enthusiastic leader, the Catering Manager will empower others in the team while helping the hotel achieve and surpass its revenue goals through dedicated sales and service efforts.

- previous catering sales experience preferred
- creativity and food/beverage knowledge desired
- valid driver’s license for applicable state required
- developed verbal and written communication skills
- ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
- ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- strong organization and presentation skills
