Job Description

The Global Ambassador is a distinguished, internationally inspired hotel developed by renowned hospitality innovator Sam Fox. It is the newest addition to the Author & Edit brand, a growing collection of thoughtfully curated hospitality experiences. Strategically located at the vibrant intersection of Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley, The Global Ambassador offers a unique blend of cosmopolitan design and local charm. This 141-room hotel is designed to provide guests with an immersive experience that combines world-class dining, elevated wellness amenities, and impeccable service, all within a single, sophisticated destination. Since its inception, The Global Ambassador has garnered significant acclaim, earning a prestigious MICHELIN Key in both 2024 and 2025, and being recognized by esteemed publications such as Esquire – naming it one of the Best New Hotels in the World – and Condé Nast Traveler, where it has been featured on the highly selective Hot List.

Within The Global Ambassador, guests have access to six original dining venues, an exclusive members club, and a bespoke fitness and wellness center that includes a luxurious spa designed to offer tranquility and rejuvenation. One standout culinary destination is Le me, a Parisian steakhouse located in the heart of the hotel. Le me pays homage to traditional French fare with a modern steakhouse twist, serving classic dishes such as Steak Frites Au Poivre and French Onion Soup, alongside contemporary takes like Tuna Carpaccio and Brick-Pressed Chicken Coq Au Vin. Complemented by a meticulously curated wine program led by the hotel’s master sommelier, singles out wines from Parisian roots paired with a global reach, and a cocktail menu featuring beautifully crafted drinks like Le Spritz Nouveau and French for Grapefruit, Le me provides an exceptional dining experience for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

The position open at The Global Ambassador invites passionate hospitality professionals to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for guest service are valued and celebrated. Employees benefit from competitive compensation packages complemented by comprehensive benefits available to team members working 25 or more hours per week. These benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, and paid time off eligibility for those clocking 32 or more hours weekly. The workplace culture fosters a spirit of excellence and a commitment to creating memorable moments worth sharing for every guest.

The role focuses on providing an exceptional guest service experience within the restaurant environment, especially at Le me. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, knowing and anticipating their preferences, guiding them through menu options with genuine recommendations, and ensuring each interaction reflects the hotel's commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will manage orders efficiently, adhere strictly to laws related to alcohol service, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and work collaboratively with team members to support seamless restaurant operations. The role demands a team-oriented mindset, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and readiness to assist colleagues and management to sustain high service standards and operational efficiency.

By joining The Global Ambassador, one becomes part of a celebrated hospitality institution that not only upholds high standards of service and culinary innovation but also offers a supportive and engaging work environment where employees are valued and appreciated. The opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking to develop their careers in hospitality with a reputed employer that combines international inspiration with local relevance, ensuring every guest and team member enjoys an extraordinary experience.
