Job Requirements
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and maneuver boxes up to 50 pounds
- Physically able to stand or walk on hard surfaces for 10-12 hours per day
- Ability to tolerate heat and cold environments including refrigeration areas
- Demonstrated sense of pride in cleanliness
- Ability to follow strict cleaning chemical and safety guidelines
- Willingness to perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by management
Job Qualifications
- Preferred but not required prior experience in a dishwashing or cleaning role
- Understanding of workplace safety and chemical labels
- Ability to follow sanitation and hygiene standards
- Strong organizational skills

- Positive attitude and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of manual and machine dishwashing procedures
Job Duties
- Ensure all porcelain, glassware, dishware, and cooking utensils are thoroughly cleaned, stacked, organized, and easily accessible
- Ensure floors in the dishwashing area, storage, and pantry are clean
- Sort, shelve, and rinse dirty dishes, glasses, dishware, and other cooking utensils
- Stack clean dishes and deliver to the kitchen line and storage areas
- Change dishwashing water every hour
- Replace cleaning and sanitizing chemicals as needed
- Assemble, disassemble, and clean the dishwasher
- Notify kitchen management if dishwasher wash or rinse cycles are below safety temperature standards
- Fill and empty the three-compartment sink with cleaning/disinfectant solutions as needed
- Hand wash pots and pans when necessary
- Dispose of waste and garbage in the appropriate containers
- Sweep around the restaurant exterior and trash area
- Sweep and mop floors
- Organize, distribute, and store food deliveries
- Work as a team with clear and constructive communication
