Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2-3 years of administrative or clerical experience in healthcare
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • General knowledge of computers and telephone systems
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee hospitality desk operations at Laurelwood Assisted Living and Laurel Way Memory Care
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, staff, and visitors
  • Supervise and schedule receptionists
  • Manage residents doctor appointments and arrange transportation
  • Maintain communication logs and report incidents
  • Support calendar maintenance and scheduling for health services staff
  • Maintain and update resident records and medical files
