Job Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license
  • Subject to a background/suitability investigation
  • May serve a probationary period
  • Selective Service Registration required for males born after 12/31/1959
  • Complete application package including resume and transcripts
  • Must complete online onboarding process if selected
  • Pre-employment driving physical examination required

Job Duties

  • Receive, sort, and mark soiled linen and apparel
  • Process flatwork and roughdry items
  • Assemble and issue clean laundry
  • Operate motor vehicles daily to transport linen carts
  • Maintain strict infection control practices separating clean and soiled linen
  • Load, tag, and cover linen carts to prevent contamination during transit
  • Restock scrub vending machines at multiple hospital locations
  • Ensure daily cleaning of laundry areas
